Why Do Many Newbies Fail at Making Money Online?

I have heard many newbie internet marketers complain that no matter what they do, they are not making any money online.
Well the question is, are they taking the right action that will bring success or are they just doing all kinds of non-essential things and hoping for the best? Firstly, it could be due to lack of focus, commitment and perseverance on his part in his desire to make money online.
Next, the newbie may not have done relevant market research to establish what the market wants and may end up promoting products for which there is no big demand.
It may be because the newbie has not taken the trouble to learn the required skills so that he has to abandon actions, half way through the process.
It could be that he has not taken the trouble to learn the required techniques to drive targeted traffic to his website(s).
There are different ways of making money on the internet and let's look at selling digital products online.
These could be your own product or someone else's for which you have acquired the rights to sell as your own.
Looking at the business model of selling digital products online, there are three things needed to make money online.
1) An information product which has high demand 2) A professionally created sales page.
3) Targeted buyer traffic If the above three are absent, you will not make any money.
So what are the other probable reasons for failure in an internet marketing newbie's efforts to make money? Many a time, disappointment could be what makes a newbie fail at internet marketing.
He may get carried away by the over hyped sales pitches promising instant riches with just a few clicks of the mouse.
Sales pages usually show pictures of mansions, flashy cars, luxury yachts and income screenshots which would raise abnormally, the earning expectations of the newbie.
When nothing happens, he is bound to get severely disappointed and give up.
Not having a list of subscribers can be one of the reasons for lack of sales and eventual failure as an internet marketer.
A newbie may buy products without first checking whether he will be able to understand its concept and then implement it with his level of knowledge at that point in time.
Another reason is, not focusing on one thing at a time and seeing it through to success.
Or rather trying to too many things at a time and not succeeding in any.
Buying more courses and training than what he can comfortably assimilate and then giving up, because of information overload and confusion.
Sometimes, not having a sincere mentor who can show the newbie the ropes and provide the required guidance and support could also result in his failing at internet marketing.
Another big reason for failure is the eternal search for the magic button that will generate great riches.
When this happens, the newbie spends all his time chasing and buying courses and products left, right and centre and in the process is unable to use what he has bought due to lack of focus on what is to be done systematically to make money online.
Because all of his time then, will be wasted in visiting and reading new products sales pages that he won't have time for learning or marketing activities.
When he finds that he is not able to benefit from it, the resultant frustration will take him closer to failure added to the other negative action that he has been taking.
Some main reasons why a newbie may fail at internet marketing are listed above.
If the newbie finds himself pursuing any of the routes given above, he should immediately take steps to correct them.
There are numerous training courses available on how to make money online and the newbie should be able to identify the course(s) and use those which will really help him to reach his goal.
